The Foundation Course is a one-year program designed for monks who do not meet the eligibility criteria to directly enroll in the Diploma in Parivenacharya Services. This course serves as a preparatory step, enabling them to qualify for full admission into the diploma program.

පදනම් පාඨමාලාව යනු පරිවෙනාචාර්ය සේවා ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාවට සම්බන්ධ වීමට සුදුසුකම් ප්‍රමාණවත් නොවන භික්ෂූන්වහන්සේලාට සම්පූර්ණ කොට ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාවට ඇතුළත් වීමට සකස් කළ එක් වර්ෂයක පාඨමාලාවකි.

Through the successful completion of the Pre-Service Pirivena Teacher Training Diploma, a skilled and experienced teacher is developed to serve in the Pirivena (monastic education) sector. This course includes 14 subjects. Among them, the subject of Social Service includes training in Bhikkhu Leadership as well as teacher training.
Successful completion of the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination (A/L).
Successful completion of the Pracheena Madhyama Examination.
Completion of a recognized Higher Diploma from a reputed higher education institute or university.
පූර්’ව සේවා පරිවෙනාචාර්ය පුහුණු ඩිප්ලෝමාව සම්පූර්’ණ කිරීම හරහා පිරිවෙන් ක්ෂේත්‍රයට පලපුරුදු හා පරිවෙනාචාර්’ය සේවයෙහි නිපුණ ගුරුවරයකු බිහි කෙරේ. මේ සඳහා විෂය 14ක් අයත් වේ. ඒ අතර සමාජ සේවාව විෂයෙහි භික්ෂු නායකත්වය පිළිබඳ පුහුණුවත් ගුරු පුහුණුවත් සිදු කෙරේ. පාඨමාලාවට සම්බන්ධ වීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය සුදුසුකම් ලෙස:
